REDIFIX™ Orthopedic Suture Anchors

Trax Surgical manufactures the REDIFIX suture anchor system as a simple, reliable orthopedic fixation solution for suture or tissue fixation applications. Using implantable-grade titanium and non-absorbable sutures made from a polyblend, REDIFIX is intended for use in the upper and lower extremities, providing simplified anatomical positioning for a wide variety of therapeutic procedures.

Streamlined Fixation with the REDIFIX Suture Anchor System

Engineered for simplicity and reliability, REDIFIX anchors are paired with a knotless, tension-responsive suture that delivers secure cinching for stable, dependable fixation. They are delivered with intuitively designed, ergonomic instruments to help surgeons move efficiently through each step with consistent performance and a smoother surgical workflow. With three clear steps, drill, drive, and push, REDIFIX offers a fast, single-incision technique to place the pin, drill, screw in the first anchor, press in the second, and cinch.

REDIFIX Suture Anchors Product Overview

The REDIFIX suture anchor system comprises 2 components: the Trax REDIFIX screw-in and push-in anchors. Designed to fixate into the bone, the screw-in anchor uses threaded engagement, while the push-in anchor uses press-fit engagement. The screw-in anchor can be used alone or in conjunction with the push-fit anchor; the push-fit anchor can only be used with the screw-in anchor and is not sold separately. Anchor delivery instruments are intended to prepare the site and fixate the anchors.

Materials Used in REDIFIX Orthopedic Suture Anchors

All implantable anchor devices are manufactured from implantable-grade titanium (Ti-6AL-4V-ELI) and include a preloaded, non-absorbable suture. The suture is a polyblend featuring ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) and polyester. The UHMWPE fibers are undyed, with trace filaments of polyester or nylon dyed with logwood black or D&C Blue No. 6 to add visual color to the suture.
